Unawatuna Beach and Diving

Unawatuna is considered the most beautiful beach in Sri Lanka. With its white sand and rock formations it is truly even one of the most charming beaches in the world.

Not only swimmers and beach lovers will appreciate it however. It is also very popular for diving.

Apart from the sea life you can also observe the shipwrecks of a quite well preserved old British steamers “The Rangoon” and “Tango”. Both are situated about 30 minutes ride by boat off the shore.
